Liebster Award!

Hey everyone! My good friend Sarah from sarahwarsi.com has nominated me for the Liebster Award. While my anxiety blog at Getting Through Anxiety has been nominated several times for this award, this is the first time that my author page has been nominated! I am so excited to receive this award and honored that such a wonderful individual has selected me, along with other great blogs, to be a part of this great achievement!

Instructions for accepting the award and passing it on:
Answer the questions that were provided, and then share some facts about yourself.
Create a new set of your own questions for others to answer.
Nominate at least 5 other bloggers and share your blog post with them so they can accept their awards

Sarah’s Questions For Me To Answer:

What is your favourite blog post that you’ve written and why?

Going through my posts, I think I’d have to say that one of my favorites is the post entitled: Accepting Compliments, Being Proud of Your Accomplishments. I think that, many times as writers, we doubt our abilities and talents – causing us to find it hard to believe that someone can actually enjoy our work. Additionally, I think that we sometimes fear that it’s not okay to be proud of the writing that we produce – we worry that it will make us conceited. The truth is that it’s okay, and even good to give ourselves the credit that we deserve!
What is one thing that people may not know about you that might surprise them?

While I’ve always liked reading and writing, I actually used to think it would be really cool to be a fashion designer! I really like clothes and would sometimes even draw out on paper what I thought would make cool designs!
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting their own blog?

I would first and foremost tell them that, if it’s not something that they’d think they’d enjoy, to not bother. I think that blogging should be fun, or at least, something that the blogger finds beneficial. Also, while I think the writer should blog for themselves, writing for an audience and really having a passion for what you’re writing can make your posts more meaningful to both yourself, and others as well. Lastly, I think someone should understand that blogging doesn’t always lead to making a profit and that blogging should be mostly about the love of writing, helping yourself, and others. There’s nothing wrong with possibly blogging for money, but not including true passion and love within your posts, in my opinion anyways, would be a huge mistake.

Questions for My Nominees To Answer:

1.) What’s your favorite thing about blogging?

2.) What have you learned about yourself through blogging/writing?

3.) Do you ever think of turning your blogging into something else? A book? A newsletter, etc.? Explain.

MY NOMINEES!

1.) Travis– An inspirational blog written by an inspirational man.

2.) K.M. Allan – A kind and talented writer who is constantly trying to support others.

3.) Mary – A great friend, blogger, and all around great person!

*I know that I’m supposed to nominate at least five bloggers, but I’ve nominated many people for this award. To see the full list of my nominees, please feel free to click here! Thank you and congratulations!

Getting Through Anxiety Blog

Hey everyone! So I know I don’t mention it a lot on here, but I do have another blog which is entitled, Getting Through Anxiety. I mostly use the blog as a way to talk about my anxiety and to spread mental health awareness. In addition to adding a link to my book reviews in the above menu, I’ve also decided to add a link to my blog, Getting Through Anxiety. I know that many individuals struggle with the mental health issue and I want to do all that I can to assure you that you are not alone in this struggle. If you’d like to visit my blog dedicated to mental health awareness, I invite you to do so.

Thank You,

B.W. Ginsburg

Site Update!

Hey guys! I decided to update my author site a bit. I was getting a little tired of how the other one looked. I hope that this one is just as easy, if not easier, to navigate and that you all enjoy exploring everything the site has to offer! If you have any questions about the site itself, my books, or anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask. As always, thank you for all your support!

Helpful Sites and Updates

Hey guys! First I’d like to let you know that I’ve recently updated my Goodreads page. There’s the option to have a type of blog on the site and so I’ve chosen to take advantage of the option. I will use this feature to post updates about my books; including upcoming projects, etc. However, I will still be using this blog as well as Getting Through Anxiety to do the same.

In addition, I discovered a very helpful site for authors this morning and would like to share it with you. The following is the link to the site. I hope it helps all the authors out there who are trying to create and sell their written work!
